Thirty-two jazz aficionados from the newly formed INSEAD Lausanne Chapter met for an evening of “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” at the Cully Jazz Festival in early April. There turned out to be nothing ugly, and the initially bad, rainy weather eventually turned quite good by the beautiful shores of Lac Leman!
The event started with a fabulous sit-down dinner at the acclaimed Restaurant de La Gare and continued with some jazz at various wine cellars turned into bars. The highlight of the evening was the main stage concert by Kyle Eastwood and his band, featuring music from many of his father Clint Eastwood’s famous movies, which received a standing ovation.
It was a great evening for the INSEAD alums, who engaged in interesting conversations over dinner and forged new connections through their common interests in wine and jazz. Many thanks to the Lausanne Chapter Committee for organizing a wonderful first event in this picturesque part of Switzerland!
