NextGen Business & Leadership: Improve your Future-Readiness
Friday, 7 March 2025

As a board member, your purpose is long-term value creation. However, the challenge often lies in striking the right balance between optimizing the current business and preparing for the future. How do you ensure your company remains relevant? And how can you align leadership and strategy with the demands of tomorrow?

In this interactive session, we will take a forward-looking approach and explore ‘what’s next’. We will discuss the strategies and methods needed not just to prepare for the future but to actively shape it. What does it mean for an organization to be truly ready for disruptive trends such as AI, sustainability, and shifting market dynamics? And how can the Board contribute to fostering an innovative and future-proof culture?

The session will start with an introduction by Fennemiek Gommer, based on insights from her best-selling book “Boardroom Creativity: How to Design the Future of Your Business”. Following this, we will break into smaller groups to discuss and explore real-world business and leadership dilemmas. The session will conclude with a plenary debrief, sharing key insights and lessons learned from the group discussions.
